Photographic Meanderings/Tauck Essence of Japan

We awaken this morning knowing that we’ll have the last of our over-the-top breakfast experiences, and look forward to a seventeen hour transit back to Pennsylvania. We’ll leave Japan at 1830 hrs local, gain a day and 11 hours and arrive in Philadelphia at Midnight on the 29th of May.

But before the travel challenge, we had another opportunity to visit with Kuni, who took the ninety minute subway ride from her home to send us off. Kuni had made us delicious treats which we enjoyed alfresco with her  at a bistro next to the hotel. We parted with hugs and the expectation that we would be together again in 2015 when they expect to visit their daughter in the US.
